RESEARCH OF SDN NETWORK PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS USING MININET NETWORK EMULATOR

چکیده
Background. The implementation of the new modern services on existing networks requires replacement or modernization old equipment. This negatively affects efficiency providing users with types and their cost. Therefore, issues/tasks implementing SDN technology in construction are center attention representatives science-research organizations telecom operators. have advantages flexible scaling system without replacing server network equipment, eliminating operator dependence specific vendor solutions, rapid technologies services. To determine numerical values indicators functioning check compliance requirements, it is proposed to use working process simulation modelling. For these goals, Open Networking Foundation consortium developed Mininet emulator, elements that published publicly. formation model procedure for determining performance uses has a number features considered work.
Objective. purpose article build based emulator various structures/topologies.
Methods. Creation segment testing its overload mode communication routes.
Results. allows simulating rather complex structure, change branches amount load routes, create network-wide mode. During simulation, possible performance, such as RTT (Round Trip Time) parameter each route communication, bandwidth routes delay elements, loading OpenFlow Switch ports/interfaces, highest delay, served lost packets.
Conclusions. Use fairly convenient tool networks. However, there also some problems. First all, setting up system's operability writing programs ensure interaction among standard from library. Secondone, when congestion occurs Floodlight Controller does not automatically balance traffic along work-around route. task be solved manually by making changes routing tables.

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
scour modeling piles of kambuzia industrial city bridge using hec-ras and artificial neural network
today, scouring is one of the important topics in the river and coastal engineering so that the most destruction in the bridges is occurred due to this phenomenon. whereas the bridges are assumed as the most important connecting structures in the communications roads in the country and their importance is doubled while floodwater, thus exact design and maintenance thereof is very crucial. f...
